If you know a technical term for this let me know. For now I am calling it a Moon Arch.
I was driving in Yellowstone at about 1:00 am and decided to pull over and look around because it was so foggy out. The moon was full, I looked down over the river valley and saw a glowing arch about 50 ft away. It was amazing. I was a little scared at first, it felt unnatural, then I realized that the moon was reflecting in the fog somehow.

JP,

I think that is a moonbow or moonlight rainbow. You should really search the web for a good meteorological phenomena website and submit the photo. I'd love to know what that thing is (or better yet, see one someday)
